Ordering Your Saddle
To Order your Custom CTK Saddle all you need to do is give us a call, send a text, send an email, or order directly through the Sycamore Creek Saddles Website!
All of our saddles can be made for all types of breeds of horses, regardless if they are Gaited or Non-Gaited. We also make Childrens Saddles, Saddles for Mules, and Donkeys. To make sure your saddle is the best for you and your horse, it is strongly recommended to measure your horse several times ( https://www.sycamorecreeksaddles.net/how-to-measure-your-horse/ ), making sure you have the correct measurements for your Custom Handmade CTK Saddlery Saddle.
Choose the saddle that fits your personality the best and your riding style. If you like more than one but cannot make up your mind, give us a call and we can help you narrow down your choices.
Choose your color from our color choices available. If you see a saddle color or design on our website, let me know and we can see how that would work on the saddle you have chosen.
Stamping is an extra service we offer to our customers. You can have your ranch brand, logo, favorite flower, or something special to you. The cost for stamping is $100.00 per mold, it is to pay for the molds that CTK has to create to stamp your leather. ( Please note if personalized it will void our Exchange policy). Make sure to send me a clear-lined picture so it is easy for CTK to reproduce. If you are unable I can clean up your image or create an image for you for $60.00 (simple designs, more complex designs require more time and added cost) Personalized stamps include: any names, brand symbols, and other personal information. It will void our Exchange Policy and you will NOT be able to Exchange the saddle.
You can also have your saddle fully tooled as well. Prices will be quoted by CTK Saddlery before placing your order.
Once you have the saddle, color choices, design features picked out and your pictures and measurements you are ready to order your saddle (please see the Order Form Checklist below). Because our saddles are handmade there is a waiting period of 8-14 weeks. To place your order you must give me a call or send an email or text with your complete order information. I have to make sure your saddle order is perfect before sending it to CTK. The required amount to start your order is $200.00. This is the Customs and Importing cost and is in addition to the cost of your saddle.
Once you order your saddle, it will take 9 to 15 weeks to deliver sometimes less and as much as we try not to sometimes more.
CTK will not ship one saddle at a time but ships several orders together on Delta Airlines. Once I place the order, CTK begins construction. I will get an email from CTK telling me that my next shipment is on the way. That’s when I know saddles are coming. Then, the shipment has to go through Customs TWICE; once in Colombia, and then again in Atlanta. Once I receive the orders, I will contact you for the final payment and ship your saddle to you. Please, be patient. It’s a process. It is truly custom Saddles and an artwork.
A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required to order, this is the customs and import fee. The balance is due before me shipping your saddle, this is the actual cost of your order plus shipping to your home from Sycamore Creek Saddles here in Montana. A total will be sent to you in an invoice to your email or SMS. You can pay with your credit card, money order, PayPal, or personal check (once the check has cleared, I will send your saddle to you).

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not satisfied with your Custom Saddle purchase, you may request for an EXCHANGE ONLY. Please see below for more information about our Return for Exchange policy.
This policy is in effect because of issues in the past. Since we are dealing with custom handmade items we have been forced to change our return policy to keep our cost affordable for all our clients. We can no longer offer refunds or returns, however, we are still continuing to offer our exchange (or remake) Policy for Custom Saddles ONLY. The benefit of this policy is to offer you confidence when ordering your custom handmade saddle from us, with our Exchange Policy in place. In the rare case, we need to remake your Saddle, Sycamore Creek Saddle pays for the importing on the approved remake saddle and Sycamore Creek Saddle pays for the remade saddle to be shipped to you. Your only additional cost is the shipping back to Sycamore Creek Saddle of the 1st custom made saddle.

RETURNS FOR EXCHANGE ONLY
All returns for exchange must be approved. In order to receive approval, you must show us in pictures the saddle and its placement on your horse, how you cinched the saddle. We need to see the saddle from each side and from the front and the back. Please explain the issue you are having. Before contacting us please make sure you have measured your horse again and taken all the pictures needed. If you have a different measurement from the measurements you have sent us for your order, we are not responsible for your incorrect measurements. If you receive approval for Exchange it must be postmarked within five (5) days of the approval for exchange date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached. There cannot be any signs of damage such as hair or dirt. No damages of any kind, scuffs, scrapes, blemishes, tears, or any other signs of damage. If there are any of these signs or other signs of damage not listed, your exchange will not be accepted and the items will be returned to you. You will be charged all shipping costs. Returns for EXCHANGE ONLY are valid up to Five (5) days of receipt of your Custom Handmade CTK Saddle only. After the Five (5) days no exchanges will be approved.
After receiving your return for an exchange item and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your exchange. Please allow at least fifteen (15) days from the receipt of your item to process your exchange. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed. Please keep in mind that an exchange is a custom replacement and it can take up to 14 weeks turn around time. We will notify you when we are ready to ship your exchange.

● We are not responsible for your incorrect measurements, so please make sure you have measured your horse at least Twice (2 times) and get the same number
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES
Sycamore Creek Saddles is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered to the address entered on your order. Upon inquiry, Sycamore Creek Saddles will confirm delivery to the address provided, date of delivery, tracking information and shipping carrier information for the customer to investigate.

RETURN FOR EXCHANGE PROCESS
● To receive approval for your item for EXCHANGE ONLY, please email customer service at [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please include the reason for your request to exchange, pictures of the item you are requesting to exchange. In order for us to offer you an exchange, you will need to re-measure your horse and send us new pictures.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES RETURNED TO US Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return and insurance must be purchased for full replacement value. You are responsible for returning an approved return for an exchange only item, shipping costs are nonrefundable and we don’t guarantee that we will receive your return item, so please make sure you can track your shipping and you have purchased replacement value insurance.
Yes, layaway is offered and you can order custom saddles or layaway in stock or bargain barn saddles and accessories. The layaway process is an upfront agreement for a period of time (no longer than 3 months) that you can make payments that work for you and your time frame. Custom Saddles will still require the Importing and Custom Fees to be paid in full at the time the order is placed. Once payments start you must continue to make timely payments, if a payment is not made in a 40 day period of time, without notification from you about any delays, your layaway will become void and you will not receive any refund and your item(s) will be put on sale in the bargain barn. Please understand that we cannot hold items for an indefinite period of time without payments being made and no notification from Sycamore Creek Saddles will be sent to you, it is your responsibility to keep track of your payments and the amount due. PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THE COVID ISSUES WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ACCEPT ANY RETURN for EXCHANGE NO MATTER WHAT, if the area that you live in is at higher risk and you have a current rise in cases, for our safety we will not accept returns. We apologize for this but have no other choices in the matter at this time.
IN STOCK AND BARGAIN BARN ITEMS ARE NON REFUNDABLE OR NEVER RETURNABLE NO EXCEPTIONS!! This policy is in place because of issues in the past. Also, I am sure you would not want to purchase a saddle that has been shipped all over the place.
I SHIP FEDEX or UPS GROUND AND REQUIRE DIRECT SIGNATURE ON ALL SADDLE SHIPMENTS. DUE TO THE RISING INCIDENTS OF THEFT, A SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED. SOMEONE WILL NEED TO SIGN FOR IT, OR IT WILL NOT BE DELIVERED. Contact me if we need to make special arrangements or have it delivered where you can sign for it.
I don’t expect anyone to order a saddle without having a chance to talk about it, you can reach me by phone, text, or by email. This is a process that takes a little time to do it right.
