Ordering Your Saddle

To Order your Custom CTK Saddle all you need to do is give us a call, send a text or send an email.

All of our saddles can be made for all types of breeds of horses, regardless if they are Gaited or Non-Gaited.

Choose the saddle that fits your personality the best and your riding style.  If you have a few but cannot make up your mind, give us a call and we can help you narrow down your choices.

Chose a saddle color or design on our website, let me know and we can see how that would work on the saddle you have chosen.

Stamping is and extra service we offer to our customers.  You can have your ranch brand, logo, favorite flower or something that is special to you.  The cost for stamping is $50.00 per side, it is to pay for the molds that CTK has to create in order to stamp your leather. ( Please note if it is very personalized it may void our return policy).

You can also have your saddle fully tooled as well.  Prices will be quoted by CTK Saddlery prior to placing your order.

 

Once you have the saddle, color choices, design features picked out and your pictures and measurements your ready to order your saddle (please see the Order Form Checklist below).  Because our saddles are handmade there is a waiting period of 8-10 weeks.  To place your order you must give me a call.  I do not accept orders through email or by text.  The reason is I have to make sure your saddle order is perfect before sending it to CTK.  The required amount to start your order is $150.00.  This is the Customs and Importing cost and is in addition to the cost of your saddle.

Once you order your saddle, it will take 8 to 10 weeks to deliver. Most orders do not take the full 10 weeks.

CTK will not ship one saddle at a time, but ships several orders together on American Airlines. Once I place the order, CTK begins construction. I will get an email from CTK telling me that my next shipment is on the way. That’s when I know saddles are coming. Then, the shipment has to go through Customs TWICE; once in Miami and then again in Knoxville/Charlotte. Once I receive the orders, I will contact you for the final payment and ship your saddle to you. Please, be patient. It’s a process. It is truly custom Saddles.

 

PAYMENT POLICY:
A non-refundable deposit of $150 required to order, this is the customs and import fee. The balance is due prior to me shipping your saddle, this is the actual cost of your order plus shipping to your home from Sycamore Creek Saddles here in Tennessee. A total will be sent to you in an invoice to your email or sms. You can pay with your credit card, money order, PayPal or  personal check (once check has cleared, I will send your saddle to you).

NEVER send credit card information via email or by text. 

 

RETURN POLICY: 

Once you receive your saddle, you have 3 days to check the quality and fit. If your saddle does not fit because the angle is incorrect, or if it bridges, you can return it for a refund (less deposit and shipping) or you can exchange it for a new saddle. PLEASE BE SURE TO MEASURE AS EXPLAINED IN THE SECTION “SADDLE FIT”, AS WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INCORRECT MEASUREMENTS, (if you need help please call me or text me). After the 3 days, refunds are not permitted. All tack to be refunded or exchanged must be new, clean, no damage, wear or full of hair.  To avoid any issues, please use a different cinch until you are certain you will keep the saddle. A saddle that shows signs of wear or abuse cannot be returned for a refund or exchanged. You will need to ship it back to me at your expense. Shipping costs are never refundable. Bits are not returnable.  If you have questions concerning our policy of returns and exchanges please contact me and I will answer your questions.

 

Why order from Sycamore Creek Saddles? Why not buy directly from CTK?
First reason is you just can’t. I am the exclusive North American sales representative for CTK. They will not sell to you directly. Beyond that, it is less expensive and better to buy through Sycamore Creek Saddles than go directly to CTK.
Here is why:
1. You can use a check, credit card or PayPal with me. The only payment that you would be able to use, buying direct from CTK, is wiring money into the bank at Colombia. There is usually a $45 to $50 bank fee for international wire transfers.
2. You have return privileges with me. CTK does not accept returns.
3. Just the shipping from Colombia would be $700.00 for one saddle, if you could order directly from CTK.
4. You do not deal with Customs, I do.

I SHIP FEDEX GROUND AND REQUIRE DIRECT SIGNATURE ON ALL SADDLE SHIPMENTS. DUE TO THE RISING INCIDENTS OF THEFT, I WILL NOT SHIP A SADDLE WITHOUT DIRECT SIGNATURE, IT IS REQUIRED.  SOMEONE WILL NEED TO SIGN FOR IT, OR IT WILL NOT BE DELIVERED.  Contact me if we need to make special arrangements or have it delivered where you can sign for it.

I don’t expect anyone to order a saddle, until we have a chance to talk about it…either by phone, text or by email. This is a process that takes a little time to do it right. That is why there is not an opportunity to buy a saddle online by clicking on a button.
